Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t celebrate Sergio Ramos’ CL final goal with his Real Madrid team mates

Spanish TV have featured an intriguing angle on Saturday’s Champions League final. See more video after the cut.....

When Sergio Ramos headed in to equalise for Real Madrid in the 93rd minute against Atletico Madrid and send the final to extra time, all but one of his team mates celebrated in the corner.
Ronaldo ran into the net, lifted his arm up, threw the ball into the corner then calmly walked back to the centre circle whilst his team mates mobbed Sergio Ramos.
This is rather strange, considering how important the Sergio Ramos goal was. Arguably the most crucial since Ronaldo joined Los Blancos from Manchester United.
And, especially when you compare it to how lavishly Ronaldo celebrated the penalty that completed the scoring in the 4-1 victory.
In his defence, it did appear that Ronaldo was carrying an injury that affected him throughout the final weeks of the season and perhaps he didn’t want to make it worse.
Video footage above of Ronaldo’s non celebration, is followed by the official Real Madrid video of the goal which also shows the Portuguese superstar’s muted celebration compared to his team mates.
