Louis Van Gaal’s list of Manchester United transfer targets

Incoming Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has reportedly submitted a list of players he wants to work with next season.
The veteran Dutchman has compiled a selection of A, B and C priority
targets and handed them to United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, claims The Guardian.
Van Gaal is expected to be officially confirmed as the new boss next week. He will then head to the World Cup as Holland manager and leave Woodward to work on his targets in his absence.
The list reportedly includes Arjen Robben, the Bayern Munich winger who has been named in Van Gaal’s World Cup squad.
Robben’s Bayern team-mate Thomas Muller – given his break by Van Gaal during his time in charge of the Bavarian giants – is also said to be on the list.
Van Gaal has also asked for Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels.
And he has given his seal of approval for United to continue their pursuit of Southampton left-back Luke Shaw and Bayern’s Toni Kroos, deals that were being worked on during previous manager David Moyes’ tenure.
