Shola Ameobi has been identified as a potential transfer target of Hull City manager Steve Bruce.
Hull have qualified to compete in the Europa League next season after losing to Arsenal in the FA Cup Final, and Bruce is keen to bolster his side to ensure they enjoy a good campaign in Europe.
To his end, reports in England suggest that Bruce has made Ameobi one of his primary transfer targets this summer, as a result of the striker's experience on the continental stage.
Bruce has been a keen admirer of the 32-year-old, and made enquiries about his availability last summer.
Ameobi has so far put talks of his future on hold until after the World Cup in Brazil this summer, having been named in Nigeria's provisional list for the mundial.
